• Keep all buying procedures under review to ensure stock control levels are compatible with areas/ sites requirement with minimum investment in stock.
• Conducting Negotiations with suppliers to obtain most attractive offers.
• Review quality and terms of suppliers.
• Relentlessly pursue late deliveries against promised dates and revise procedures to eliminate delays.
• To buy materials and services of the right quality, right quantity, right price from the right source at the right time.
• To develop healthy relationship with vendors and to do vendor’s analysis from time to time.
• To have measurement of supplier’s quality, cost performance and exercise appropriate control. |
| Desired Candidate’s Profile |
• Graduate/Engineer graduate with 7 - 10 Years of experience in purchase in Engineering / Manufacturing industry / Capital Goods & Vendor Management
• Excellent Communication skills in English. • Experience in vendor development and should posses strong negotiation skills.
• Experience in procurement of variety of mechanical/ electrical /electronics components as well as procurement of raw material such as various grades of steel, copper, aluminum, welding products and engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge of Import and Export procedures, logistics as well as preparation of documentation for the same. |
